The Notion cover generator that matches your brand.
Aura is a browser tool that turns your brand color — or any uploaded image — into premium 3D abstract covers for Notion, Linktree, Bento and landing page heroes. Drop an image, Aura extracts your palette in your browser. Pick from 8 organic shapes (Trefoil knots, Gyroid surfaces, ball-and-stick lattices, soft Cluster blobs, Wave ribbons), in chrome or candy materials. Production-ready PNG in Cover, Wallpaper, or Square sizes, finished in seconds.

Notion, Linktree and Bento covers used to mean either a generic Unsplash photo (everyone uses the same ten), a flat gradient (nice but forgettable), or paying $20 for a static 180-cover Gumroad pack (no choice over what fits your brand). Free Notion cover generators exist, but they're all photo-based or pattern-based — none generate procedural 3D, and none match your specific brand colors.
Aura is deliberately narrow: your colors, in 3D, in 30 seconds. Drop a brand image — a logo, product shot, mood board, IG screenshot — and Aura's k-means extracts five dominant, saturated colors from it. Every shape, every material, every rotation pulls from those colors. The output looks like premium product photography, not stock.
If you want photoreal 3D, use Spline or Cinema 4D. If you want AI-generated covers with vague color match, use Midjourney. Aura is for when you specifically need a brand-matched 3D abstract cover — right now, sized for Notion, your desktop, or social, ready to drop into your page.
What you can do with Aura
Brand palette from any image
Drop a logo, product photo, IG screenshot or mood board. Aura's weighted k-means extracts five dominant saturated colors and uses them as the palette across every render.
8 organic 3D shapes
Metaball, Molecule, Orbit, Wave, Trefoil, Cluster, Gyroid, Lattice. Each is a distinct silhouette — minimal surfaces, knot-tube curves, ball-and-stick crystal frames, and soft cluster blobs.
Chrome & candy materials
Chrome reflects an Apple-style studio softbox environment with iridescence. Candy is a softer pearlescent gradient. Both with ACES filmic tone mapping for cinematic exposure.
Multi-size PNG export
Three preset sizes: Cover (1200×480, 5:2 — Notion / Linktree / Bento / Discord headers), Wallpaper (2560×1440, 16:9 — desktop background), Square (1080×1080, 1:1 — avatar / IG post).
Curated gallery of 8 variations
One click opens a gallery of 8 fresh thumbnails — every shape × material × angle, all using your palette. Pick your favorite, download directly from the gallery without re-rendering.
Privacy-first, in your browser
All image processing and 3D rendering runs locally in WebGL. Your brand image never leaves your device. No server upload, no account, no tracking.
Who Aura is for
How Aura works
Aura vs other ways to make Notion covers
Tools like notioncovergenerator.com and notionimages.com are photo-based — they overlay text on Unsplash photos or generate flat geometric patterns. None do procedural 3D, and none match your specific brand colors. Aura is the only tool that generates 3D from your uploaded brand image.
$10-30 packs give you 180 static covers, but they're frozen — you can't rotate, change shapes, or match a different palette. Aura is procedural: $9 unlocks unlimited fresh covers, every one unique to your brand.
AI generators are probabilistic — your brand color comes out approximately, often shifted. Prompts take minutes to engineer. Aura is deterministic: drop your image, get exact-color 3D in 30 seconds. No prompt engineering, no generation queue.
Full 3D tools are powerful but general-purpose — they expect modeling, lighting, and rendering from scratch. Aura is scoped to one task: a brand-matched 3D abstract from your color, in cover / wallpaper / square sizes. Learning curve is under a minute.
Canva templates are flat — they can't generate real 3D abstract art. They also don't match your brand color automatically. Aura fills the gap between Canva (flat templates) and Cinema 4D (full 3D) — purpose-built for "premium 3D cover, sized for Notion".
Frequently asked
What is a Notion cover, and what size should it be?
A Notion cover is the banner image at the top of every Notion page, database, or workspace. The recommended dimension is approximately 1500×600 pixels (5:2 aspect ratio). Aura's Cover preset exports at 1200×480 — same ratio, optimized for fast PNG export. The same dimensions work for Linktree banners, Bento profile covers, Discord headers and landing page hero sections. Wallpaper (2560×1440) and Square (1080×1080) presets are also available.
How does brand color extraction work?
Drop any image into Aura. A weighted k-means clustering algorithm runs locally in your browser — pixels with higher saturation are weighted more, so dominant brand colors are detected even if your image has a lot of background. The result is five hex codes that Aura uses as the palette across every render.
Do I need 3D or design skills?
No. Aura ships with curated parameter ranges and a gallery of pre-balanced compositions. Click Generate to randomize, or open the Gallery for 8 polished variations at once. Most users get a finished Notion cover within 30 seconds of opening the page.
Can I use the PNGs commercially?
Yes. Both Free and Pro tier exports are royalty-free for personal and commercial use — landing pages, marketing assets, client work, paid products, social media, App Store screenshots. The only restriction is on redistributing Aura itself.
Is my image private?
Yes. Aura runs entirely in your browser. Uploaded images never leave your device — color extraction happens locally in JavaScript using the canvas API. There is no server upload, no account, no tracking. The license activation system uses Lemon Squeezy and only stores a license key locally.
Does Aura work on mobile?
Yes, on modern mobile browsers (Safari iOS, Chrome Android). Performance is best on desktop because the WebGL raymarcher computes every pixel each frame. For the highest-quality final exports, desktop is recommended.
How is Aura different from AI image generators?
Midjourney, DALL·E and Stable Diffusion are probabilistic — your brand color comes out approximately, never exactly. Prompts take 5-15 minutes of engineering and re-rolls. Aura is deterministic: drop your image, get exact-color 3D in 30 seconds. No prompt, no waiting, no surprises.
What if my image doesn't have strong colors?
Aura's extraction filters out near-white, near-black, and very desaturated pixels, then boosts the saturation of the remaining colors. For images that are mostly grayscale or very pale, the output palette will lean closer to a fallback. Try uploading a more colorful source for best results — your logo, a product photo with strong accent colors, or a curated mood board.
